WALTER JAGER

Walter Jager is the principal consultant of RoHS Consultant/goECD. He has assisted numerous electronic equipment OEMs and contract manufacturers understand the requirements of worldwide RoHS regulations and to develop compliance programs, including supplier assessments and compliance assurance procedures

Mr. Jager has worked extensively in the development of international electronics standards and is chairman of the Canadian Committee for IEC TC111, the International Standards Committee for Environmental Standardization of Electronics and a member of the IPC Declaration Process Management Subcommittee.

Mr. Jager is regularly invited to present on RoHS at industry workshops, webinars, and conferences. With 25 years experience in the electronics industry, he has held a variety of positions in environmental compliance, quality and reliability engineering, strategic supply chain management, system architecture and product design.

Mr. Jager holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia and the University of Waterloo, respectively, as well as an MBA from the University of Ottawa.
